But if you insist on Sleep Numbers adjustability because you and your partner cant compromise on a firmness level, and you have a flexible budget, we think only the Performance Series and Innovation Series mattresses and the Cooling Memory Foam mattress are worth considering. The less expensive Classic Series mattresses and the Value Bed lines are just too thin for most people. If you like a plush mattress with good support, then you should spend more for the Innovation Series beds, which have thicker cushioning.

Flat and Favorite will operate the bed differently if you have a FlexTop® or Split King bed.
FlexTop®
- Favorite will operate both sides of the bed together, because the foot of the bed must adjust at the same time for this setting.
- Flat will return the foot to flat and the head of the selected side to flat. The other head will stay elevated until returned to flat on that side of the bed.

Im not sleeping within the suggested range most of the time. Its recommended for you not to take naps or change from your sleep schedule. Well, Im going to at least some of the time. So, I dont like this feature as well as the rest.I dont like sitting on my bed and having it read my heart rate through my bottom. If you take a nap close enough to when you wake up then it adds the sleep time to your prior night sleep. That changes your score for the worst. I go in and edit that off later. It puts the score back to the way it was before.
