The Sleep Number 360 Smart Bed Performance Series
The Performance Series is slightly plusher than the Classic Series. The p5 and cooling pSE each have 4 inches of cushioning, for a total height of 10 inches. The p6, the companys most popular mattress, has an additional inch of cushioning, for an overall thickness of 11 inches.
Compared with the beds in the Classic line and the Performance lines p5, the p6 felt like a real mattress, the kind with a surface thats adequately cushioned for people who are not particularly high-maintenance. But when I tried the p6 at home, I couldnt shake the feeling that I was sleeping on a rubber raft. The 5 inches of foam wasnt enough for me to nestle into, even with a softer air-bladder setting. Letting out air offered more give, but then the bed didnt feel as supportive, and it still didnt feel fluffy, per se.
I was left feeling adrift, but my husband, by contrast, loved sleeping on the p6. For once, instead of compromising on my medium-soft-mattress preferences, he could sleep on a firm mattress next to me. It was a sad day for him when we returned this mattress.
The pSE wasnt available to try at the store when I visited, but Sleep Numbers publicist said it has proprietary ClimaTemp foam that is softer and more plush than whats typically used on the p series. Unfortunately, were not sure exactly how this technology works because Sleep Number doesnt share details about its foam.
The Best Bed For Snoring: Sleep Number Bed 2020 Review
A happy family prays together, sleeps together, and wakes up together. Waking up together is however a myth in most families due to snoring partners.
When partners sleep well together, they wake up rejuvenated and form a successful family. It is the secret to a long-lasting relationship. And since we spend a third of our time sleeping, the secret works most of the time.
Sharing a bed is one of the hardest things ever if the bed is not comfortable and inviting. If the bed does not encourage sleeping together then one of the spouses finds an excuse to not sleep at the same time.
At those time the partner decides to use blue light-emitting devices like television sets, video games, laptops, or phones. Others engage in reading books or magazines.
Even if a person does not like the bed firmness or pillow type, snoring and OSA really affect the quality of sleep experienced. In most partner researches, sleeping with a snorer has been noted as one of the major reasons for partners sleeping in different beds.
In other cases, especially in conservative Christian societies, the partners persevere together where the snorer contributes to making the partner an insomniac.
The solution for these marital problems is solving the snoring, comfort, and firmness with the revolutionary sleep number beds. The beds offer all the above ensuring each partner sleeps without the other partners problems affecting them.

The Sleep Number Cooling Memory Foam
The m7 is the only Sleep Number bed that offers the hugging sensation of memory foam. If you and your sleep partner prefer a light memory-foam cradling, and if you cant agree on a firmness level, then the m7 may be a worthwhile, albeit expensive, option. However, the company doesnt divulge what, exactly, is in that foamy comfort portion, so we dont know how dense, and therefore durable, it is. The sinky-ness of the m7 is comparable to that of most online foam mattresses . It has a slight sinking sensation, but not the more-assertive curve-conforming feel of something like the Tempur-Adapt.

The C Classic series mattresses will be the most affordable option, but also the most limiting. These beds will be on the firmest end of the spectrum and come with the least amount of bells and whistles. Still, this could be a great option if youre on a budget but still want the ability to adjust the level of air pressure in your mattress with the click of a button.
The Sleep Number c2 Bed:
The c2 bed does not come with a foam mattress pad on top of the air chamber. Instead, it has a soft fiberfill sewn into a thin layer right above the air chambers. This is a great option for people who love firm beds especially side sleepers. Many reviewers said the bed did a great job at helping alleviate back pain by providing ample and firm support. Others spoke to the beds longevity and a few were happy with the price point being more manageable than comparable beds.
Lastly, the c2 includes a 15-Year Limited Warranty, which means any damage to the bed due to a manufacturing or material issue will be covered by Sleep Number for the first two years. The Sleep Number 360 Smart Bed Classic Series
The under-$1,500 Classic Series is Sleep Numbers entry-level offering, and the mattresses in this line sure feel like it. The 8-inch c2 reminds me of a dormitory bednot surprising, since it contains only 2 inches of foam the rest of the mattress is made up of air encased in the bladder. The c4 has an inch more foam, for a total of 9 inches, and feels only slightly less institutional theres nothing cuddly about it. Unless youre used to sleeping on a mat or you plan on springing for a good mattress topper, we dont recommend this series.
In 2020, Sleep Number updated its 360 Smart Beds, adding temperature-balancing featuresincluding high air-flow fabrics and gel materialsmeant to make the mattresses feel cooler and more breathable.

Will An Adjustable Bed Help With Sleep Apnea
Yes, an adjustable bed can help because it keeps your upper body, head, and neck elevated. By having your upper body raised above your torso, it reduces the chances of your throat muscles relaxing and obstructing air flow.
Another benefit of an adjustable bed is that it can aid in digestion. If youre in the habit of going to bed shortly after dinner, then having a frame that adjusts can help put your body in an elevated position to encourage digestion and prevent heartburn and acid reflux.
If you decide to get an adjustable bed, make sure that the mattress and frame are compatible.

Who Might Like A 360 Smart Bed By Sleep Number
- Couples who have different preferences for mattress firmness. These beds allow each partner to adjust the firmness on their own side of the bed.
- People who are interested in gathering data about their sleep. If you are interested in sleep trackers, a smart bed like the 360 will collect the information for you and compile it into a smartphone app.
- People who like to sleep with their head elevated. When paired with one of the adjustable bases, the 360 Smart Beds allow you to sleep with your head elevated. This can help with snoring or back pain.
No More Fighting With Pillows
For people who do not have an adjustable bed, it is not uncommon to try to use multiple pillows to reduce snoring. However, propping yourself up with pillows can provide its own set of challenges. When using multiple pillows, these pillows can slip and shift positions throughout the night. Having to constantly readjust your pillows can disrupt your sleep just as much as snoring, and improper pillow placement could leave you with neck and back pain that can disrupt your day.
Furthermore, if you are not awoken by your pillows moving, no longer being elevated could cause your snoring/sleep apnea to return. If you have found that propping yourself up reduces your snoring but you are tired of fighting with pillows, it may be time to invest in an adjustable bed. This will allow you to easily prop yourself up at night without having to fight with your pillows.
