Adjust the bed to your favorite position. Press the star button or hold down the button on top of your remote. The remote will prompt you to save the current position as your Favorite Setting.
Flat and Favorite will operate the bed differently if you have a FlexTop® or Split King bed.
FlexTop®
- Favorite will operate both sides of the bed together, because the foot of the bed must adjust at the same time for this setting.
- Flat will return the foot to flat and the head of the selected side to flat. The other head will stay elevated until returned to flat on that side of the bed.
Split King
- You can save a different Favorite setting for each side of the bed.
- Favorite and Flat will adjust each side of the bed independently.

Sleep Number beds require a flat, firm, durable surface to adequately support the mattress. Platform beds and adjustable bases are the best options. Sleep Number sells both adjustable bases and an integrated base for use with their mattresses. Box springs and slatted foundations are not recommended for the Sleep NumberC2 mattress.

But you can try unplugging the central pump unit from the outlet. Leave the pump unplugged for a short time. Plug the unit back in and, at the same time, press both the upper and lower button on the remote. This will reset the unit’s circuit, and you should be ready to go again.
