Core Line 15 Year Limited Warranty
In a nutshell, Sleep Number will repair or replace your c2 or c4 bed if theres a defect that wasnt caused by human error. In other words, if something wrong happens to the bed that was due to a production error, thats on the Sleep Number crew. This will be completely covered for the first two years.
From year 3-15 of the limited warranty, you will become responsible to pay for a portion of the repair and replacement cost. Sleep Number calculates the exact amount based on the then-current prices of each product. This warranty also covers the Firmness Control system that is a part of the mattress.
360 Smart Bed 15 Year Limited Warranty
Most of the same rules apply for the 360® smart bed warranty. Additionally, any tech-related issues that arise that are related to defects in materials or workmanship with the SleepIQ module will be covered. However, after two years, nothing related to SleepIQ will be covered.

The C Classic series mattresses will be the most affordable option, but also the most limiting. The Sleep Number c2 Bed:
The c2 bed does not come with a foam mattress pad on top of the air chamber. Instead, it has a soft fiberfill sewn into a thin layer right above the air chambers. What We Think About Sleep Number Mattresses
In general, we think you can get a more comfortable mattress for a lot less. But if you insist on Sleep Numbers adjustability because you and your partner cant compromise on a firmness level, and you have a flexible budget, we think only the Performance Series and Innovation Series mattresses and the Cooling Memory Foam mattress are worth considering. The less expensive Classic Series mattresses and the Value Bed lines are just too thin for most people. If you like a plush mattress with good support, then you should spend more for the Innovation Series beds, which have thicker cushioning.
Beyond SleepIQ, Sleep Numbers marketing also touts technology that claims to help you fall asleep faster with a foot-warming feature. You can also theoretically control your partners snoring by raising the upper portion of their side of the bed. How Long Is The Risk
Solaire: 180 nights
Sleep Number: 100 nights
The bottom line: It sometimes takes a while to get used to a new mattress, especially if it’s a type of mattress you haven’t slept on before. At 180 nights, Solaire’s trial period is longer than Sleep Number’s. What I Found From Several Live Chat Sessions
After speaking with Sleep Number Customer Service representatives, I learned about a few extra details and clarifications that may help people decide between the M-7 or the I-8 mattress.
- Mattress Tops: Since the M-7 is all about memory foam, the mattress tops on these two will vary greatly. The M-7 is soft but flatter and grey in color. People will most likely sink into this mattress more than the I-8 which is plush and has quilting foam sewn into the mattress top .
- Firmness: According to the Customer Service representatives that I talked to, its hard to compare the firmness of these two mattresses. While the air chamber will help dictate the firmness in each mattress, the layers of gel comfort foam and memory foam will add different feels and conform to the body differently. One representative did tell me that the I-8 was probably a little softer because of the pillow top mattress surface.
